Paper Tube Co — Google Tag Manager Admin Access & Setup
Overview
During the ABM campaign review call on 2026-02-26, Asymmetric requested and received elevated Google Tag Manager (GTM) access for the Paper Tube Co account. Access was upgraded from User to Administrator live on the call by Parag Agrawal (parag@papertube.co).
This unlocks full configuration flexibility for tracking setup, tag deployment, and visibility into the existing GTM container.

Why Admin Access Was Needed
User-level access in GTM limits the ability to:
- Create and publish new tags, triggers, and variables
- Modify container settings
- Manage user permissions
- Access certain configuration and debugging views
Administrator access is Asymmetric's standard requirement for GTM accounts where active tracking setup or conversion configuration work is planned.
Planned Use Cases
With admin access in place, GTM can now be used to support:
- LinkedIn Ads conversion tracking — once the new WordPress landing pages (built with Gravity Forms) are live and LinkedIn ads are relaunched, GTM will be the mechanism for firing conversion events. See [1].
- Meta Ads pixel and event tracking — pending Meta Ads access being granted by Parag. See [2].
- General site analytics — visibility into what tags are currently firing on
papertube.co and any gaps in tracking coverage.
Related Context
- The LinkedIn ads were paused due to a Shopify/Salesforce form conflict. Landing pages are being rebuilt in WordPress with Gravity Forms, which will integrate cleanly with Salesforce and allow proper GTM tag firing. See [1].
- Meta Ads access remains pending as of this meeting. Parag noted Meta's multi-person verification requirement complicates the process. See [2].
- The primary client domain is
papertube.co. ABM emails are sent from papertube.pro to protect domain reputation. See [3].
Notes & Conventions
- Asymmetric committed not to modify any existing tags or configuration already in place in the container — admin access is additive for new setup work.
