FinWellU Page Redesigns (You Thrive, Retire U, Employers, About Us)
Redesign specifications captured during the [1] pre-launch website review call on February 10, 2026. These changes target a February 17 go-live, with a follow-up review scheduled for February 13. See also [2] and [3].
You Thrive Page
- Remove "Help" from the nav label and page header — the product is now simply "You Thrive" (drop "Help" site-wide via keyword search).
- Remove the redundant "You Thrive" text label from the hero area; the logo presence is sufficient since the user is already under the You Thrive tab.
- Add the You Thrive logo to the upper-left corner of the hero image to orient the user within the section.
Layout & Imagery
- Swap the hero image with the Retire U hero image. The current You Thrive hero (woman at whiteboard) reads as an older-generation audience and is better suited to Retire U. The workers/group image reads younger and belongs here.
- Move text-heavy body copy into image overlays rather than standalone text blocks to reduce visual weight.
- Use a zigzag / alternating layout for the mid-page sections (text left / image right, then image left / text right) to improve flow.
- For the "rising young professionals and skilled trades" section: drop the copy down over the top of the corresponding images (young professionals, skilled workers) rather than displaying it as a separate text block above them.
CTAs
- Move the final call-to-action section ("Master Your Money Today / Unlock Your Benefits") higher on the page — place it as an overlay on the presentation/workers image rather than leaving it at the very bottom.
- CTA button text: "Begin Pursuing Financial Freedom".
- Add a "People First" header to the CTA overlay section.
- All "Book Discovery Call" buttons → link to Contact Us page for now; update to Paul Tourville's calendar once his 15-minute booking link is configured.
Scaling & Responsiveness
- Verify the page is fully responsive; Peter noted that on a split-screen/smaller viewport the hero image had excessive white space on the left and content stacked poorly.
Retire U Page
- Remove the trailing colon from the "Retire U:" nav label and page header.
- Add the Retire U logo to the upper-left corner of the hero image (consistent with You Thrive treatment).
Layout & Imagery
- Swap the hero image with the You Thrive hero image. The woman-at-whiteboard image (currently on You Thrive) is more appropriate for the Retire U audience.
- Image ordering within the page: place younger demographic images on the left and older demographic images on the right — people read left to right, so the progression should reflect aging/career stage.
- Specifically: "Thinking About Retirement" label should sit over the younger-couple image; "Empowering Your Legacy" label should sit over the older-couple image (currently these are reversed).
- Apply the same image overlay / zigzag layout approach used on You Thrive.
CTAs
- Move the final call-to-action section higher — overlay it on the workers/group image rather than placing it at the bottom of the page.
- Update CTA button copy from the placeholder ("Secure Your Bright Future Today" was duplicated in error) to the correct copy from the approved document.
- All "Book Discovery Call" buttons → Contact Us page (same interim state as You Thrive).
Trademark
- Replace all
™ symbols with ® for "Financial Wellness Done Right®" — the mark is now federally registered. Verify correct usage before publishing. (Owner: Karly Oykhman)
Employers Page
- Update the subheadline from "Plan Now, Thrive in the Future" to "A High-Impact Path to Employee Financial Wellness" (pulled from approved copy doc).
Layout Changes
- Move "Financial Planning for Every Stage of Their Career" (currently beside the couple-with-aprons image as a text block) down as an overlay on the green image ("Financial Wellness for Employers"). This cleans up the text-heavy section above.
- Move "How Financial Wellness Done Right Works for You" (the three-pillars section) to below the green image. This preserves reading order while breaking up the visual density near the top.
- For the Turnkey Advantage section: condense into a more visual format. Options discussed:
- Image overlay (green background with copy on top), or
- Zigzag layout (Turnkey Advantage text left / image right)
- Karly to use design judgment; Peter deferred to her on execution.
- The two mid-page images (You Thrive / Retire U thumbnails) should follow the same left-younger / right-older ordering convention.
Final CTA Section
- Keep as-is. The one-on-one advisor image is intentionally appropriate here — the Employers page is the one context where individual engagement imagery makes sense, as it speaks to the employer's relationship with their employees' financial outcomes.
- CTA button → Contact Us (interim).
About Us Page
Text Corrections
- Fix typo: "zero solicitation policy" → add missing space (renders as one word currently).
- Fix punctuation: "Stewardship and advocacy" → "Stewardship and advocacy:" (add colon).
Content Removals
- Delete the entire "Our Resources" section, including all three partner logos:
- Next Level GVA
- CFP Board
- LPL
- Remove the extra/duplicate CTA button that was added without a corresponding copy spec.
Layout Adjustments
- Move the "Client Experience" section (Personalized Access, etc.) up into the space vacated by the deleted "Our Resources" section.
- Move "Ready to Transform Your Workspace" CTA into an overlay on the man-and-woman (tie) image. Remove the standalone image that currently sits below it.
- Retain the "Contact Our Experts" button; it is consistent with the rest of the site.
- The first/duplicate button can be removed if it creates redundancy, but Peter indicated he was comfortable leaving one consistent CTA.
