FinWellU UX Improvements — Pre-Population, Header, Footer, Login

A set of UX and polish improvements identified during the pre-launch review of FinWellU.com. These changes span the login flow, event registration experience, sticky header, footer, and privacy policy link.

Pre-Populated Registration Forms for Logged-In Users

Status: Confirmed as a goal; Karly's team to verify implementation feasibility.

When a logged-in user navigates to an event registration form, their profile data (name, email, phone number, etc.) should be pre-populated automatically. The user can review, update any changed fields, and submit with minimal friction.

Rationale (from Peter Tourville):

"If you could have it pre-populated, just say boom, and then confirm, good, done… if your phone number changed, your email changed, you can just update it real quick. Otherwise I'm getting involved with people's changing emails and I don't want that."

This pattern also ensures the platform always holds current contact data without requiring a separate profile-update workflow.

Behavior spec:
- Form fields auto-fill from the logged-in user's stored profile on page load
- User may edit any field before submitting
- Submission confirms registration and may update stored profile data

Login Button Text Update

Change: "Login to Financial You" → "Login to FinWellU"

Discovered during the live walkthrough when Peter clicked the login button for the first time during the review session. The old brand name ("Financial You") was still present in the login UI copy.

Scope: Update the button label and any associated modal or page heading that references the old brand name.


Sticky Header — Logo Sizing

Change: Increase the FinWellU logo size within the sticky header's blue bar.

The logo was sitting closer to the top of the bar than the bottom, leaving uneven blue space. The goal is to fill the blue area more evenly — not a dramatic resize, just enough to center the visual weight.

Change: Center the "2026 Financial Wellness Done Right" copyright line beneath the footer logo.

Currently left-aligned or offset; should sit centered under the logo for visual balance.


Change: Replace the existing privacy policy link in the footer with the new Termly-generated policy URL.

Termly was approved prior to this meeting. Mark (Asymmetric) is responsible for setting up the Termly account and generating the policy. Termly auto-updates based on applicable laws, removing the need for manual policy maintenance.
