L'Amarie Beauty Service Page — Accordion Implementation

Technical specifications for the accordion components required on the L'Amarie Beauty service page redesign. These components replace flat/static sections and must be consistent with the overall product page styling conventions.

Context

During the ^[1] service page redesign review (2025-11-07), Melissa walked Isahaque through client feedback (from Roxanna) requiring several sections to be converted to collapsible accordion components. This was part of a broader scope-creep situation Melissa was pushing back on with the client.

Accordion Components

1. Estimated Investment

• Replaces: "Pricing"
• Label: Estimated Investment
• Sub-label: Price Range (replaces "Package")
• Content: Client (Roxanna) to provide pricing details per service variant. Content is variant-specific — refer to the Excel source document and use the correct copy for each variant.

2. Financing Options

• Replaces: "Payment Option"
• Label: Financing Options
• Content when expanded: Cherry retailer financing information. This content has been provided by the client and should be pulled from the source document.

3. Clinical Details

• Label: Clinical Details
• Content when expanded (nested items within the accordion):
• Potential Risks
• Post-Care
• Timeline for Results
• FDA Approval Links
• Note: These sub-items may themselves be styled as nested accordions or a structured list — confirm with Melissa if unclear.

4. Membership and Maintenance

• Label: Membership and Maintenance
• Status: Hidden — build the section but keep it hidden until the client provides final details.
• Implementation note: Use a CSS visibility toggle or WordPress block visibility setting rather than deleting the section, so it can be revealed without a rebuild.

Copy & Styling Requirements

Font Treatment

All body copy within accordions must match the product page style:

• Case: Lowercase
• Weight: Bold
• Do not use all-caps (the previous style)

Section/accordion titles (e.g., "Key Ingredients", "Clinical Details") should be title-cased (capitalized), not lowercase.

Semicolons

Remove all semicolons from copy throughout the service page. Roxanna's source document may contain them — strip them during implementation.

Source Document (Excel) Color-Coding

Roxanna has color-coded the Excel document to indicate which copy applies to which service variant. The color-coding is inconsistent — do not rely on it blindly. Cross-reference the variant columns carefully and use the correct copy for each page variant.

Implementation Notes

• Accordions should use a standard click-to-expand/collapse interaction (WordPress block or custom component — whichever is already in use on the site).
• Keep the Membership and Maintenance accordion in the DOM but hidden, so it can be toggled live once the client confirms content.
• The Financing Options accordion content (Cherry retailer info) is already available in the source document.
• For Estimated Investment and Clinical Details, some variant-specific content may still be pending from the client — flag any gaps rather than leaving placeholder text live.
