Increased Scope Discussion — Didion
Overview
During the [1], Melissa flagged a significant opportunity to expand the scope of work with Didion. The current project is going well and the CEO appears happy with the agency's output, creating a favorable environment to pitch additional services.
Scope Expansion Opportunity
Melissa noted that Asymmetric could realistically function as Didion's full-time agency, potentially working up to 40 hours per week. When she floated this idea with the client, the response was receptive — the client pushed back on 40 hours but indicated ~20 hours/week was plausible.
"I kind of joked a little bit like we could be her full-time agency working 40 hours a week for her because I really feel like we could be. And she's like, well, probably not 40, but maybe 20."
Current Project Status
- Project is progressing well; CEO is described as "very happy"
- Internal pivots on the client side (e.g., branding/product direction changes) have created some churn, but the team is working through them
- Client is on holiday through the rest of the week at time of this discussion
Amazon / E-Commerce Opportunity
A separate thread discussed the possibility of setting up an Amazon store for Didion. Melissa indicated the client is already moving toward creating a store (not necessarily Amazon), and flagged this as a natural next step to propose.
