Weekly Call w/ Gilbert — 2025-12-10

Overview

Weekly account status review between Gilbert Barrongo and Mark Hope covering four active issues: a missing Flynn Audio Google Ads account, a Doodla Farms cornmeal stockout suppressing Amazon sales, a brand purchase intent surge for Doodla, a Reynolds Transfer conversion downtrend, and a blocked Old World Popcorn Google Shopping campaign pending GMC advanced account approval.

Attendees: Gilbert Barrongo, Mark Hope (Asymmetric Marketing)

Topic Notes

Flynn Audio — Google Ads Account Missing

The Flynn Audio account disappeared from the manager account entirely — not visible even under hidden or canceled accounts. Clicking the saved link in the Asymmetric client Google Sheet returns a "not signed in" error specific to that account.

Gilbert called Google support, filed a recovery form, and received confirmation the account can be restored within two days. Cause is unknown.

"Whenever I try to open the account, Google says I'm not signed in. But when I open the other accounts, I don't have any problems signing in." — Gilbert

Doodla Farms — Cornmeal Stockout & Amazon Inventory

Sales dropped noticeably due to a Yellow Cornmeal stockout. The inbound replenishment shipment is not visible in Amazon's FBA shipping queue. Carly had already submitted the reorder request on December 3rd but noted a slow supplier response.

Next step is to obtain the shipment ID from Carly and search the queue directly, since Amazon's shipping queue only supports search by shipment ID (not SKU or ASIN).

Related: several other Doodla SKUs were observed in transit (Cranberry Beans, Dark Red Kidney Beans, Northern Beans, Whole Wheat Flour, Yellow Popcorn Kernel), suggesting active replenishment activity across the catalog.

Doodla Farms — Brand Purchase Intent Surge

Gilbert reviewed the monthly Amazon search query report and found a significant spike in brand purchase trend across most Doodla search terms.

Search Term All-Time Avg (prior 5 months) Current Month
organic popcorn kernel 52 139

This indicates more shoppers are selecting Doodla specifically after searching these terms. Recommendation: maintain or modestly increase ad spend to sustain and extend the trend.

Most managed accounts are trending upward on conversions. Flynn Audio was also on an uptrend before the account went missing.

Exception — Reynolds Transfer: Conversion count is on a downtrend. Gilbert is investigating landing pages, search terms, and ad copy for optimization opportunities.

Old World Popcorn — Google Shopping Campaign Blocked

Gilbert attempted to create a Google Shopping campaign for Old World Popcorn products but found no Old World Merchant Center available — only Doodla Farms appears in the account selector.

Investigation: The Doodla Farms GMC feed is sourced from DoodlaFarms.com via a Google Shopping Feed plugin (WooCommerce-based). Adding Old World products to the same feed or creating a parallel feed within the same standard GMC account is not straightforward.

Resolution path: Mark applied for a GMC Advanced Account (via Settings → General → Account Setup → Advanced Account Setup). This unlocks sub-account functionality, allowing Old World Popcorn to be managed as a separate sub-account with its own product feed under the same parent account.

Current status: Review in progress. Google will send an email when the request is completed.

Also noted: the 1.5 lb organic dried beans listing is currently disapproved in the Doodla Farms GMC and needs investigation. 25 lb bulk bags (popcorn, yellow cornmeal) are also disapproved but considered low priority.
