Old World Popcorn — Google Workspace Email Setup
Overview
During the [1], Mark completed the Google Workspace email setup for Lucy at Old World Popcorn. The account had been previously approved by the client ($7/month) but the user had not yet been created.
Setup Details
- Email address:
lucy@oldworldpopcorn.shop - Platform: Google Workspace (existing account under
oldworldpopcorn.shop) - Status: Active — user created, temporary password set
Forwarding Configuration
Mark configured email forwarding so that messages arriving at lucy@oldworldpopcorn.shop are automatically copied to Lucy's primary personal inbox. This allows Lucy to receive Old World Popcorn emails without needing to actively monitor a second inbox.
How it works:
1. Email arrives at lucy@oldworldpopcorn.shop
2. A copy is forwarded to Lucy's primary email address
3. The original remains in the Old World Popcorn inbox
4. Lucy must accept the forwarding confirmation email for this to activate
Note: Sending email from the
oldworldpopcorn.shopaddress via her personal inbox is possible but requires additional configuration (not set up at this time). For now, Lucy should log into the Google Workspace account directly to reply to business emails.
