AviaryAI Google Ads Verification Issue
Overview
AviaryAI's Google Ads account is blocked at the advertiser verification step due to a name mismatch between the legal entity and the operating brand. This is a time-sensitive blocker with a hard deadline of April 12, 2026.
Despite the verification issue, ads are currently running and delivering reasonable results (4,700 impressions and 7.5% CTR over the last 30 days). The blocker prevents full verification compliance, which could result in ads being paused if unresolved by the deadline.
The Problem
Google requires all advertisers to complete identity verification. The mismatch causing the rejection:
- Legal entity name: Cambio Financial Health Inc.
- Operating brand: AviaryAI
Mark Hope (Asymmetric) has submitted verification documents three times; Google continues to reject them citing a name mismatch, even though the submitted documents appear to match the account details on file.
An additional complication: the verification method was switched from "verify advertiser" to "verify agency" so Asymmetric could submit its own paperwork — but documents are still being kicked back.
Resolution Path
The most promising path forward is providing an official government document that ties the legal entity to the operating name:
- Requested document: IRS FEIN letter (shows company legal name and address)
- Action owner: Justin Dwyer to provide the letter to Mark Hope
- Note: Justin flagged that any document from AviaryAI's side will show "Cambio Financial Health Inc." as the parent, with AviaryAI as a DBA — Mark acknowledged this is a known complexity he has navigated with other clients
Deadline
April 12, 2026 — ads risk being paused if verification is not resolved by this date.
Action Items
- [ ] Justin Dwyer: Locate and send IRS FEIN letter to Mark Hope
- [ ] Mark Hope: Resubmit verification using the FEIN letter; escalate or try alternate document types if rejected again
