ASIM X-Ray Onboarding
Overview
ASIM X-Ray is a CRM tool being rolled out by Mark across client accounts. The onboarding process requires clients to receive and approve an access request email sent from the asimxray.com domain. Because this domain is unfamiliar, clients and account managers have mistaken the request for spam or phishing.
How Onboarding Works
- Mark sends an access request to the client from an
@asimxray.comemail address. - The client must approve (not block) the request to grant access.
- If the client blocks or rejects the email, the request cannot be re-approved from the client side — Mark must resend the invitation.
Known Issue: Flan Audio
During the sprint planning meeting on 2025-12-26, Karly flagged that Sam at [1] had blocked the ASIM X-Ray access request approximately two weeks prior. At the time, both Sam and Karly assumed it was spam due to the unfamiliar domain.
Resolution: Karly will inform Mark that the Flan Audio request was blocked and needs to be resent.
Guidance for Account Managers
When clients receive an email from asimxray.com requesting access:
- Do not block it. This is a legitimate request from Asymmetric's tooling.
- Inform clients proactively that they may receive this request and should approve it.
- If a client has already blocked the request, notify Mark so he can resend it — the client cannot unblock it on their own.
"Just if you have any other clients with Google Ads and they get a request to like add that domain, that's what that is." — Karly Oykhman, 2025-12-26 sprint planning
