Didion Landing Page — Form Fixes & UX
Overview
During the PLMA trade show prep call, the Didion PLMA landing page was blocking email campaign sends. Several form issues were identified and partially resolved mid-meeting. This article documents the fixes deployed, remaining UX issues, and the resolution status.

Background
The PLMA landing page contact form had two categories of problems:
- Notification routing — form submissions were only going to a shared marketing inbox that Diana (client) did not have easy access to.
- Post-submission UX — the page behavior after form submission was confusing to end users.
Email sends were queued and ready but could not go out until the landing page was confirmed functional.
Fixes Deployed (Mid-Meeting)
Email Notification Routing
- Diana's personal email (
dhenry@didioninc.com) was added as a form submission recipient. - This provides real-time alerts without requiring access to the shared marketing inbox.
- The developer (Michał) confirmed the fix was live during the call; Diana tested and received the notification successfully.
Submission Anchor
- After form submission, the page previously scrolled to the top, leaving users unaware that a confirmation message existed below.
- An anchor was added so the page now scrolls to the "Thank You" confirmation section automatically on submit.
- Confirmed deployed mid-meeting.
Remaining Issues (Post-Call)
Custom Thank-You Message Not Displaying
- Diana had created a custom confirmation message in the form settings, but the form was still defaulting to the generic "Thanks for contacting us. We'll get in touch with you shortly." message.
- The custom message was not appearing despite being configured.
- Status: Flagged for follow-up. Diana was asked to re-test after the call to confirm whether the fix resolved this.
"I created a new message, but it's still defaulting to the default. I can't see in there where it can switch from the default to the new message I wrote."
— Diana Henry
Action Items
| Owner | Task | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Diana | Re-test form to confirm custom Thank-You message is displaying | Pending |
| Michał | Verify custom message configuration in form backend if Diana's test fails | Pending |
Notes
- The form is built on the Divi Builder, which the developer noted has been less smooth than other builders used on other projects — worth flagging for future Didion site work.
- A Zapier (ZAP) integration for form submissions was mentioned as a longer-term option but was deprioritized in favor of direct email notification for the immediate deadline.
- Once the landing page was unblocked, email sends could proceed. The page was considered ready for campaign use by end of meeting.
