A New Dawn Therapy SEO Page Strategy
Overview
During the January 2026 website finalization meeting, the team identified three pages on the A New Dawn Therapy site that warrant dedicated SEO investment. Unlike the site's informational pages (Meet the Team, Rates & Insurance, Resources, etc.), these three pages target specific, high-intent local search queries and require substantive copy to compete organically.
See the broader meeting context in [1].
The Three SEO-Focused Pages
1. Supervision
Target audience: Newly licensed or recently graduated therapists seeking clinical supervision in the Madison, WI area.
Rationale: Katie noted that newly licensed therapists in the region are actively struggling to find supervisors. This represents a high-intent, underserved local search niche with real demand and relatively low competition.
Content guidance:
- Explain what supervision at A New Dawn Therapy looks like
- Speak directly to the needs of pre-licensed clinicians
- Include relevant credentials and supervision approach
- Naturally incorporate focus keywords provided by Sebastian
2. Careers
Target audience: Therapists and clinical staff looking for employment or contractor opportunities at a group practice.
Rationale: As A New Dawn Therapy transitions to a group practice model, attracting qualified clinicians is a business priority. A well-optimized Careers page can surface in searches from therapists actively looking for positions.
Content guidance:
- Describe the practice culture and what makes it a good place to work
- Outline types of roles or what the practice is looking for
- Include information about supervision, caseload, and support structure
- Incorporate focus keywords once provided
3. Online Therapy
Target audience: Prospective clients in Wisconsin searching for remote therapy options.
Rationale: Online therapy is a high-volume search category. A dedicated page allows the site to compete for queries like "online therapy Wisconsin" or "virtual therapist Madison."
Content guidance:
- Explain how online sessions work at A New Dawn Therapy
- Address common client questions (platform used, what to expect, who it's right for)
- Differentiate from in-person therapy where relevant
- Incorporate focus keywords once provided
Word Count Requirement
Each of the three SEO pages requires 700–1,000 words of original copy to support organic search ranking. This is a deliberate threshold — enough content to signal topical depth to search engines without padding.
All other pages on the site (Meet the Team, Rates & Insurance, Resources, Client Portal, FAQ) are informational and have no minimum word count. The focus there is clarity, not volume.
Workflow
- Sebastian provides focus keywords for each of the three pages (target: Jan 19)
- Katie drafts 700–1,000 words per page incorporating those keywords (target: Jan 23)
- Dev team builds page layouts based on the provided copy
- Internal linking from the FAQ page to these service pages reinforces SEO value
Internal Linking Note
Katie raised — and Sebastian confirmed — that linking from the FAQ page to these SEO pages improves both user navigation and organic ranking. For example, a FAQ answer like "Do you offer online therapy?" should link directly to the Online Therapy page. This should be implemented during the build.
See [2] if that note is filed separately.
