SOAR Course Review — 2026-03-06
Overview
Working session with Gus Donelson (Agility Recovery) and Isalia Ramirez to review and refine in-progress SOAR course modules. The call covered four areas: Co-pilot module refinements, Prompt Cowboy removal, a live edit to the Storytelling module scenario, and planning for the upcoming Tech Stack module.
Attendees:
- Mark Hope — Asymmetric
- Isalia Ramirez — Asymmetric
- Gus Donelson — Agility Recovery (external)
Key Decisions
Co-pilot Module
- Gus will record new seller-perspective videos to replace current placeholder recordings. Isalia will provide high-level outlines for each required segment.
- Prompt Cowboy activity removed. The tool generates multi-page prompts that are impractical for the course's goals. The activity will be replaced with a native Co-pilot prompt exercise instead. Prompt Cowboy may be mentioned as an optional resource (tip box) but will not be a required activity.
- Co-pilot data retention callout updated to "approximately 6 months." Gus tested live during the call and confirmed Co-pilot history goes back to at least November 2025 (from a March 2026 reference point). Six months was agreed as a safe, accurate callout.
- Isalia will re-record her video segments to fix crackling audio caused by a poor internet connection during the original recording.
Storytelling Module
- UPS systems reference removed from scenario. A scenario in the "Power of Storytelling" module referenced UPS (uninterruptible power supply) systems — a service Agility Recovery does not offer. Gus edited the scenario live during the call.
- Revised scenario now focuses on Agility's standard 12–6 hour response time and the potential need for an on-site generator, accurately reflecting the company's actual capabilities.
- Gus will re-upload the corrected scenario in Jilly.
Tech Stack Module
- Abby (admin) has created the SharePoint folder structure but has not yet uploaded content/SOPs.
- Isalia will share a high-level outline with Gus after the call, following the same format used in earlier modules.
- Gus will review the outline and share with Abby and a sales AE for directional feedback.
- Two content creation paths under consideration:
- Option A: Schedule a live walkthrough/informal training session with Abby (and possibly the AE).
- Option B: Provide Abby and the AE with recording guidance and have them record directly.
- Rationale for including a sales AE: A seller's perspective on tool usage is more relevant to the course audience than an admin's view. The AE may also produce better-quality instructional video than Abby would.
Scheduling
- March 19–20 meetings canceled due to conflicting travel (Gus) and a personal trip (Isalia).
- Next meeting to be rescheduled to either March 18 or March 23; decision to be made the following week.
