PLMA Trade Show Prep — 2026-04-05

Working session with Diana Henry (Didion) to finalize materials for the upcoming PLMA trade show. Several items were resolved live during the call; others have defined next steps.

Attendees:
- Diana Henry — Didion (dhenry@didioninc.com)
- Melissa Cusumano — Asymmetric
- Michał Bielerzewski — Asymmetric

Overview

The primary goal was to clear remaining blockers before the PLMA show. The PLMA landing page was unblocked mid-call after form fixes were deployed. The combined Korn Masa/Arepa sell sheet was approved for same-day printing after a round of copy and design edits. Direction was set for the new product page and homepage hero banner. PayPal integration was flagged as significantly more complex than originally scoped, with timeline TBD.

Key Decisions

Action Items

Diana Print sell sheet upon receipt of final PDF
Diana Re-test landing page form to confirm custom "Thank You" message is displaying

Topic Detail

PLMA Landing Page

Blocker resolved: Email sends were queued but could not go out until the landing page was complete. Fixed mid-call.

Fixes deployed during call:
- Diana's email added to form submission notifications (bypasses shared marketing inbox, provides real-time alerts)
- Submission anchor added — page now scrolls to the "Thank You" confirmation after form submit

Remaining minor UX issues (low priority):
- Form still displaying generic "Thanks for contacting us" message instead of Diana's custom message
- Page scrolls to top on submission, requiring user to scroll down to see confirmation

Combined Korn Masa / Arepa Sell Sheet

Approved for same-day printing after the following edits.

Front side:
- Capitalize all items in the "Bags, Totes…" list for consistency
- Replace ampersand in "totes & 2-10 lb bags" with a comma
- Keep "Consistency, quality, performance…" title font size as-is

Back side — copy:
- "We craft the Masa and Arepa flower…" → "We craft Corn Masa and Arepa flower…"
- "We don't just sell Masa." → "We don't just sell ingredients."
- Fix widow/hanging chad on the final sentence

Back side — design:
- Remove heavy black footer bar
- Move URL below phone number, styled in Didion blue
- Ensure phone number and URL are left-aligned (match the previously printed version)

Diana confirmed the combined sheet is the only version needed for the trade show. No standalone Arepa sell sheet required at this time.

PayPal Integration

Originally scoped as a simple plugin switch. After deeper review by Eshock and Mark, it requires a site-wide audit of how forms and checkout are built. More complex than anticipated — similar in nature to the Gravity Forms situation. New timeline TBD.

Diana expressed frustration that the complexity wasn't surfaced earlier. Melissa acknowledged the gap. Follow-up needed to set a revised timeline.
