SBS Brand Identity & Affiliations
Brand identity for SBSWI centers on a distinctive orange/blue color scheme, a set of credibility-building industry affiliations, and a values-driven charity partnership. These elements should be consistently expressed across the redesigned website to reinforce trust with commercial decision-makers.
Brand Colors
SBSWI's color palette — orange and blue — emerged organically from team gear and has become a recognizable identifier. The colors are bold and distinctive in the commercial roofing space (where safety green is common), and the team has embraced them as a core visual identity element.
Action: SBSWI to provide formal brand guidelines (hex values, usage rules) if available. If not, Asymmetric will derive a working palette from existing materials and confirm with the client.
Industry Affiliations & Credibility Markers
These affiliations should be prominently displayed on the website — particularly on the homepage and About page — as trust signals for facility managers, building owners, and property managers evaluating vendors.
NRCA Membership
- National Roofing Contractors Association — described by Chris as "the gold standard for roofing contractors"
- Logo already provided to Asymmetric
- Should be displayed with the full name spelled out (not just the acronym) to maximize recognition and SEO value
Manufacturer Partnerships
SBSWI is licensed with multiple manufacturers to install their products. The key differentiator: these manufacturers inspect SBSWI's completed work and warrant the labor, not just the materials. This is a meaningful distinction from contractor-only warranties.
Known partners include:
- IKO — confirmed; manufacturer-backed labor + material warranty
- IAAP — listed on current site; full name should be spelled out
