Quarra Stone is in the process of updating their Google Business Profile following a facility relocation. The profile has been claimed but requires re-verification under the new address. This article documents the verification process, known friction points, and next steps for profile optimization.

- Profile has been claimed by Lauren (Quarra Stone)
- Hours and "open now" status are displaying correctly
- Location has not yet been updated to the new facility address
- A new verification video must be recorded and submitted before the address change is accepted
Verification Process
Google Business Profile verification for address changes requires recording a video on a physical mobile device — pre-recorded or screen-captured videos are not accepted. The video must demonstrate:
- The business's physical street sign (which may require walking to the end of the block)
- The storefront or facility entrance
- Enough context to confirm the location matches the listed address
Note from call: Lauren recorded the verification video from a car rather than walking to the street sign. Acceptance is uncertain; a re-record may be needed.
Known Pain Points
- Video must be recorded on-device at the time of submission — no uploads from camera roll
- Google may reject submissions multiple times before accepting (one Asymmetric client required five separate submissions before the video was accepted)
- Long street sign distances can make the walk-and-record requirement impractical
