Social Media Client Coverage & Reallocation
Overview
Following the termination of Mylene (social media specialist) in January 2026 as part of a cost-reduction response to a cash-flow crisis, the team needed to document which clients were receiving social media services and establish a reallocation plan. This article captures that client list and the coverage approach going forward.
See [1] for full context on the terminations and financial situation.
Clients Receiving Social Media Services
At the time of Mylene's departure, the following clients were receiving social media or related content services:
| Client | Service Notes |
|---|---|
| Doodla | Social media management |
| Adava Care (Adabacare) | Google Business Profile posts |
| Skaalen (Skullin) | Social media management |
| Advanced Health & Safety | Social media management |
| Bluepoint ATM | Social media management |
| Citrus America | Blog content only (no full social) |
| Exterior Renovation | Social media management |
Note: Client names in the source transcript are phonetically rendered. Spellings above are best-effort matches to known client names. Verify against the client roster before actioning.
Reallocation Plan
Immediate Steps
- Melissa to document Mylene's full task list per client and share with Mark.
- Work to be distributed across the remaining team:
- Raphael — absorb a portion of social media tasks
- Gavin — absorb a portion of social media tasks
- Design team — assist with content creation where possible (note: English is a second language for some designers; suitability should be assessed per task)
Contingency
If the remaining team cannot absorb the workload, Mylene may be re-engaged on a project-by-project or per-client basis — without a guaranteed monthly retainer. This was discussed as a fallback, not a default.
SEO Coverage (Yeshwant)
Separately, Yeshwant's SEO role was also eliminated. His departure is considered lower-risk in the short term because major SEO fixes across existing client sites were already complete. New-site SEO work will be handled ad hoc as it arises, with the option to re-engage Yeshwant on a paid-per-project basis for new website launches.
Risks & Considerations
- Client churn risk: Several clients were already flagged as at-risk prior to the terminations — Adava Care, Didion, and Sonoplot. Disruption to social media delivery could accelerate churn for any clients on this list.
- Quality risk: Distributing social media work across team members who were not hired for this function may affect output quality, particularly for clients expecting consistent brand voice.
- Capacity risk: Account managers are not primarily affected by these changes ("it's more of a doer problem"), but the design team and Raphael/Gavin will carry additional load on top of existing responsibilities.
